Frozen berries are processed with frost, therefore, after complete defrosting, cooking compotes based on them for more than 5 minutes is not recommended.
In this case, the cooking time is dictated not only and not so much by the boiling time. The berries should also be processed before boiling the compote. Raspberries, blackberries and cloudberries are easiest to process as they grow tall and don't even need to be washed. Frozen berries must be defrosted before cooking the compote (you can directly in the water), but in order to cook the compote from seedless grapes, you will have to sit for painstaking cleaning for only 15 minutes.
