The easiest way to pickle cabbage

This is the easiest way of salting cabbage - a minimum of actions and ingredients, a maximum of harvesting a kilogram / hour.
Take autumn cabbage so that it is crisper - starting in mid-September. She wanders easier and turns out faster. It is better to take larger heads of cabbage - it is easier to cut them.
What you need - for the simplest way you only need cabbage and salt. Additionally, you can add spices and carrots, but then the method will become somewhat more complicated.
A step-by-step guide to harvesting cabbage for the winter:
1. Remove dirty leaves, cut the heads of cabbage to make it easier to chop.
2. Chop the cabbage - do not grind it; for speed and quality it is enough to chop the cabbage into strips 5-7 centimeters long and 1-2 centimeters wide.
3. Arrange the cabbage in the jars, tamp it so that more can fit into the jar.
4. Pour cabbage with cold drinking water - up to the shoulders.
5. Salt - 1 heaped spoonful of salt per liter of can.
6. Close the jar with a lid.

This is really the easiest way to pickle: no carrots or spices. In an hour, using this method, you can prepare up to 7-10 kilograms of cabbage. To make it even easier to grind a lot of cabbage, you should get a food processor - it grinds cabbage twice as fast as with the manual method.
After 2-3 months, the cabbage will be salted and ready to be eaten as an appetizing snack. Shelf life - maximum one year in a cold place.
