How to pickle beets for a snack

Fresh beets can be made for a quick, crispy snack. You will need the following ingredients:
1 kilogram of beets,
40-50 milliliters of vinegar 9%,
1 glass of sunflower oil
2 glasses of water
peppercorns - 4-5 pieces, garlic, cilantro, salt and sugar - to taste.
PreparationWashed but unpeeled root vegetables of approximately the same size are boiled in water until tender. While the beets are boiling, a marinade is prepared: pour water into a saucepan, add vinegar, oil and black peppercorns, bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes. Then put chopped garlic and cilantro, salt and sugar into the marinade. Boil for another 5 minutes, remove from heat and leave to infuse, tightly closing the pan with a lid.
Boiled beets are peeled, cut in a convenient way (into rings, large cubes), placed in a saucepan and poured with cooled marinade. In a few hours, a tasty and healthy snack will be ready to eat.
